Baby Shower

This weekend I went to a baby shower for a friend who is having twin girls. So I made her a couple of cute little crocheted hats

Sorry about the picture quality. The lighting was really bad, but I couldn't make it any better no matter what I tried. The flower is on an alligator clip so it can be removed and worn with a headband or just in their hair when they get bigger. She can also use other clips on the hat instead.

Then I made a couple of Crinkly Squares for the girls to play with. When you move them they make a crinkly sound.

Making these gifts reminded me of just how much I need to get done before my little boy arrives. So many projects, so little time.

Want to hear something funny? I made some crinkly squares for Lily just a few days before the shower. We always seem to be on the same page when it comes to our latest projects...

what goes inside to make the crinkle noise?

Mauri - It's plastic bags. Very easy. Also, I've got several buttoned scarves finished. I'm putting them up on my shop on Wed. or Thurs. this week. If you're still intereted in a couple just come by and pick out which ones you want. Preferably before I put them up so I don't have someone buy the ones you want. Just let me know.
