Pink Cupcake Party

I have to start by saying that this wasn't an actual party. Today the princess and I had what she called a "pink cupcake party." She was just dying to make cupcakes, so we made pink cupcakes with chocolate and vanilla frosting with pink, white chocolate hearts on top. Of course we had to have pink milk to go with it!

I just love having a daughter to do things like this with.

What is that rubber mat and where did you get it and what is it's purpose?!?!
I am having craft envy that you have a tool that I have yet to see or hear about. :)

Natalie, it's a Silpat and it is my absolute favorite kitchen tool. I got mine from Williams-Sonoma about 6 years ago. Nothing sticks to it - and I mean nothing. It can go in the oven, so you don't have to grease your cookie sheets just bake them on the silpat and they slip right off every time. I use it all the time for candies instead of parchment. It works for anything that you don't want to stick. The possibilities are endless.
